Dimitris is a Composer, Sound Designer & Multi-Instrumentalist from Mykonos Island, Greece, based in Los Angeles, CA.
As a Composer for media, he has contributed music to a number of TV shows and series as well as award-winning documentaries, films, trailers, commercials and contemporary dance shows in the U.S. and Europe.
He advanced his composing and sound designing skills as a part of the Bleeding Fingers Custom Music Shop team, where he had the opportunity to work for some of the most highly rated TV shows. In addition, he has written music for Extreme Music's massive catalogue.
As a performer, he has collaborated with some of Greece's most prominent and world-renowned artists, in genres ranging from hardcore hip-hop to classical crossover. He has over a decade of experience as a pianist. He also plays the bouzouki, accordion, guitar, percussion, turntables and sings.
Since 2014, he collaborates with world-renowned classical crossover tenor Mario Frangoulis as a pianist and keyboardist.
Ιn 2013, he formed the Greek Rebetiko Trio band where he sings and plays bouzouki. Dimitris has since performed close to 90 shows all around the United States. He has been interviewed and has performed live with Greek bands at Kosmos Radio (NYC), the Grecian Echoes (Boston) and LA Hellenic Radio. Dimitris has composed original tunes in the idiom of Rebetiko as well as recorded an EP with cover songs performed by the Greek Rebetiko Trio.
In 2009, he released a personal EP titled A Descent Into The Maelstrom (under the alias Ghostnote).
Performing as Ghostnote, Dimitris joined Active Member, Greece's first hip-hop act, in 2008 as a keyboardist & guitarist for both live performances and studio recordings.
Dimitris is also experienced in radio, having produced and hosted a live radio show on Blasphemy Webradio from 2007 to 2009.
He graduated summa cum laude from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Electronic Production & Design. Dimitris also received diplomas from the London College of Music in classical piano and theory as well as studied jazz piano and theory under the guidance of world-renowned composer and performer, Stavros Lantsias.
